Some of your COVID restrictions have changed

Queensland

Who: Residents of Greater Sydney and Victoria 

What: Will be able to enter Queensland without quarantining 

When: From December 1

NSW

Who: Households in NSW

What: Will be able to have up to 50 guests at home, instead of the 20 currently allowed*

When: From December 1 

*If you have an outdoor area. If you don’t have an outdoor area at home, you’ll be limited to 30 guests. 

From December 14, workers in NSW will be encouraged to return to the office and workplaces must have COVID-Safe plans.

"Private companies and organisations can make decisions about what they do with their employees into the New Year. We want to give people time to think about this," Ms Berejiklian said.

Ahead of more people returning to the workplace, authorities urged people to wear masks while commuting on public transport.
